Terms of service
Last updated 25 October 2026
1. About these terms
Bowerkit is provided by Premium Business IT Pty Ltd, ABN 87 152 336 019 ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the business that starts a trial of, or subscribes to, Bowerkit ("you"). By starting a trial or subscribing you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
Bowerkit is a business service. It is not offered to individuals for personal, domestic or household use.
2. Free trial
Your account starts with a 45-day free trial with every feature turned on. There is no charge for the trial. If you have not subscribed by the end of the trial, your account becomes read-only: you can still sign in and see your information, but you cannot create or send new quotes until you subscribe.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Subscriptions are annual and are paid in advance by card through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are in Australian dollars and GST is added.
- A tax invoice is emailed for every payment.
- Your subscription renews automatically each year on the same date, at the price shown for your plan at the time, until you cancel.
- If you move to a higher plan, the difference for the rest of your year is charged straight away, pro rata. If you move to a lower plan, the difference is credited against your next invoice. You cannot move to a plan whose limits (for example the number of users) your account already exceeds.
- If a payment fails, we will let you know. If it is still unpaid 2 days later, your account becomes read-only until payment is made. Your data is not deleted.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price increase before it applies to your renewal.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Plan page in Bowerkit. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the year you have paid for, and you keep full access until then. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Your data
- You own the information you and your customers put into Bowerkit. We use it only to provide Bowerkit to you and to support you.
- Your data is stored in Australia (Sydney) and is kept separate from every other customer's data.
- You are responsible for having the right to load your customers' details into Bowerkit and for using them in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- When your subscription ends you can ask us for a copy of your data, and you can ask us to delete it.
- How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
6. Payments from your customers
If you turn on card payments, your customers pay you through your own Stripe account, under your own agreement with Stripe. Bowerkit does not take a fee on those payments and does not hold the money. You are responsible for your sales to your customers, including your prices, tax invoices, refunds, disputes and Stripe's fees.
7. Supplier pricing and third-party services
Bowerkit shows prices, stock and product details supplied by distributors and other third parties, and connects to services such as Autotask, Stripe and Microsoft 365. We do our best to show this information accurately, but we do not control it. Check prices and availability with your supplier before you rely on them for a quote or an order. Your use of each third-party service is also subject to that provider's terms.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Bowerkit to break the law, to send spam, to try to access another customer's data, or to interfere with the service. You are responsible for your users and for keeping their sign-in details secure. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep Bowerkit available at all times, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may need short maintenance windows, which we will try to schedule outside Australian business hours. Support is by email and phone. Gold plans include priority support.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows:
- our total liability to you in connection with Bowerkit is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, where the Australian Consumer Law applies, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again; and
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data, arising from your use of Bowerkit or of third-party information shown in it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email account owners at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. The current version is always on this page.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
